Dan Clancy has been the dynamic lead vocalist for Lighthouse since 1992. He began singing with the Holy Cross church choir at six years of age and by eleven was fronting his first band. Dan's voice, with its enormous range, is the ideal vehicle to perform the classic Lighthouse hits as well as the new material that has been written specifically with his voice in mind.
His M.I.A. studies at Fanshawe College gave him a window into the technical and business side of the music business and in 2000, Dan established Collective Records. He recently launched the Collective Music Business Academy to help advance the careers of performers, young and old alike, working with and recording singer/songwriters in his state-of-the-art facility, Collective Studios.
In addition to fronting Lighthouse, Dan continues to work as a solo vocalist and with The Dan Clancy Band. He was recently featured with legendary Canadian vocalists Ian Thomas, Skip Prokop, and Tom Wilson, on the tribute song for Canadian soldiers entitled Canadian Heroes. He is most passionate about helping others and recently became involved with fundraising efforts to assist Durham Region's Abilities Centre.
